Our customer service is an open book, we present all we do and how we do it. This article is for our service engineers, to guide them for the procedures.

Tools & Materials Required

  1. Soldering gun, Soldering Wire & Paste
  2. Heat Shrink Tubing; 3.4mm, 4.5mm, 6mm
  3. 2x Medium Size Cable Tiers
  4. 10/15cm AG-HOSE/96 (cut from Chiller Tubing if Excess Available)
  5. Electrical Insulation Tape (Standard)
  6. Wire Stripper, Side cutter

1. Tie Joint

ILLUSTRATION 1 : Tied Joint

• Strip 7cm of Red Insulation Coating First on each end of the Joint.
• Strip 3.5cm of Clear White Contacting to Expose the Wire in the Inner Protective Coating 3mm thick.
• Tie Joint together to avoid loosening.

2. Solder Joint

ILLUSTRATION 2 : Soldered Joint

• Apply Soldering Paste to Tied Joint.
• Roll Soldering wire on to the joint area.
• SOLDER the Joint to avoid slipping out or loosening.

3. Apply 3.5MM-4.6MM HEAT SHRINK TUBING

ILLUSTRATION 3 : 3.5MM-4.6MM HEAT SHRINK TUBING

• Cover soldered joint with heat shrink tubing

4. Apply Electrical Insulation Tape

ILLUSTRAION 4: Use Electrical Insulation Tape

• Stretch and apply Standard Insulation Tape to cover joint

5. Apply AG-TAPE-HV

ILLUSTRATION 5: USE AG-TAPE-HV

• USE AG-TAPE-HV to Insulate Joint and after apply Electrical Insulation Tape to avoid it from rolling off since non-sticky.

6. Apply Heat Shrink Insulation 6mm

ILLUSTRATION 6: Heat Shrink Insulation 6mm

• Use Heat Shrink Insulation 6mm to protect AG-TAPE/HV FROM LOSSENING OR PEELING OFF

7. Apply AG-HOSE/96

ILLUSTRATION 7: AG-HOSE/96

• Use AG-HOSE/96 to cover entire joint from End to End

8. Apply 2xCable Tiers

ILLUSTRATION 8 : 2xCable Tiers

• Use two medium size cable tiers to secure both ends of the AG-HOSE/96 AS SHOWN ABOVE

9. Secure Joint to the tube

ILLUSTRATION 9 : Secure Joint to the Tube

Secure Joint plus excess High voltage Cable on to the Tube to Prevent it Touching/Earthing on the Machines Body for further Protection.

Important

Notes!

• This format of Joining the LC-TUBE Red High Voltage cable does not exhaust the whole AG-TAPE/HV.
• The risk of it Short-circuiting or Earthing with the body of the Machine minimum and close to none.
• Joint as firm as you can even tug on the cable and does not Strip or Leak.
• Use of this format is much neater in appearance as well as very strong.
• Durable and Cost Effective, Less Power Leakage risk and also Water Tight
